Medical Emergency ID 1.1

The Medical ID app is a companion to the Vital ID Medical bracelet, thoughtfully designed to provide essential lifesaving medical and emergency contact information in the event of an accident or medical crisis. The app's primary purpose is to offer paramedics quick access to vital data when it matters most.

Information within the app is securely stored and can be password protected at the user’s discretion. This ensures that sensitive details remain confidential until they are needed.

The app facilitates the storage of the following critical information:

• Name (first and last)
• Medical Insurance (provider and account number) - optional
• Emergency Contact #1 (name and telephone)
• Emergency Contact #2 (name and telephone) – optional
• Allergies and medications
• Medical Information
• Other Information – optional

Please note: All information entered into the app is stored exclusively on your device. It does not get uploaded to cloud storage or any central server, ensuring that you maintain full control over your personal data.

Important:

1. If you decide to utilize the optional password protection, it is crucial to record this password on the ID card contained within your Vital ID Medical ID bracelet. First responders will require this password to access your stored information.
2. If your phone employs fingerprint or PIN number security, please ensure that you provide consent for first responders to unlock your device. This can be done by either allowing the app to use your physical fingerprint scan or by recording your phone unlock PIN on the ID card inside your Vital ID Medical ID bracelet.
